Our Metal Cutting Technology class builds a foundation in basic metal cutting theory and teaches participants how to apply it properly. Topics include: Turning, Milling, Drilling, Parting and Grooving, Boring and Tool Holding. Come to this training and leave with the ability to overcome critical process challenges and develop more efficient and profitable operations.

John Pusatera Sr Training Specialist John Pusatera has been a Sandvik Coromant employee since 2001 and Training Specialist since 2008. John has had a long career in manufacturing beginning 1979. He has had many roles including 24 years in metal cutting sales. He has spent time helping customers optimize their processes through new technology. For the last 12 years John has been providing customized training for our customers in their facilities, as well as instructing training classes in our Sandvik Coromant Centers for both employees and customers. John is based out of the Sandvik Coromant Center in Schaumburg, IL. |

Chuck Tate Sr Training Specialist Chuck has worked in the area of manufacturing science since 1973. His career in manufacturing began interfacing a control unit to a surface grinder for the manufacture of gear blanks. NC and CNC programming was a natural progression. Chuck has held the positions of Programmer, Programming Supervision, Engineering Manager, and Director of Manufacturing. Chuck joined Sandvik Coromant in 1996 as a Service Representative, then Sales Representative, and Senior Sales Representative for Rolls-Royce. In 2006, Chuck joined the Marketing Department as a Training Specialist based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. Chuck has a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University and a Master of Business degree from Butler University, Indianapolis, IN. |
